While I appreciate your qualified support, I have to say that I do not
recall asking you what your opinions were on my ability to express
myself.

For now. I guarantee you that you can expect that to change. I know
Macromedia too well.

This makes it more problematic. If you have a Flash file which assumes
that it is online all the time -- why would you not in most cases -- it
will, in future, have to perform *some* kind of test in order to
determine if it's running in an online state or not, or its streaming
media -- if it actively streams -- will break.

Problem is that both the remote and shockmachine will permit end users
to save content, including Flash files, to local disk to play any time
they want, even if they are not active on the net at that moment.

Thanks for your comments; however I don't think I'm quite the Chicken
