I to feel that FLASH could be a better program but I assume that will
come in futre versions. As it is. FLASH 4 is a nice step up from
FLASH 3.
To answer soem of your questions, heres some thing sthat Ive found to work:
>1) moving a selection of a larger animation.
Turn of view ing for all the layers you DONT want to use, select all
and then turn the other layers back on so you can refernece them as
you move your selection.
>2) selecting a whole column of frames at once.
If you click on the top frame you want and then scroll down and
Shift-click on the bottom frame you want, everything else in between
will be auto selected.
>3) Setting alpha to be zero on a number of items.
It would be nice to execute duplicate INSTANCE actions on multiple
symbols at once but due to the nature of the functions, I believe
that particular functionality would be extremely difficult to program.
4) Keeping spot sounds in synch with action while maintaining a voiceover track
Have you tried attaching the sound to the instance in the Frame
ACTIONS dialogue box? Also, I think its a good idea to preload your
movie whenever your going to be using complicated sound structures,
i.e. multiple sound tracks over one another. It takes a lot of Muscle
to execute an Audio function and when you start layering them things
can get wierd real quick.
My 2C anyway.
