Miriam Geller [mgellermacromedia [dot] com (mailto:mgellermacromedia [dot] com)] (Shockwave product manager or
somethin) answered someone's similiar query in the shocker list, thus:
>Questioner: I have a client that has a server-based product that we are
creating

Miriam: Yes. Macromedia is moving to a Free Licensing Plan. We are
currently
developing a standalone Shockwave Player installer that will enable you to
install Shockwave from an Intranet or CD-ROM.

>Questioner: 2) For how much money?
Miriam: The license will be free. Availability for this installer will be
before
the end of September.
