If you're asking "Can I redistribute the Shockwave or Flash Players?" then
I would definitely defer to the Shockwave Licensing staff, via the
Macromedia website.

Flash and Shockwave are in different situations for redistribution, and
both have different scenarios (online, offline, CD, more).

As Miriam noted in the partially-requoted message here, the Shockwave
distributions will be changing in the future, but this is not fully set up
yet. Please don't take what you read in a list at face value... I'd
strongly recommend checking the FAQ on the Macromedia site for the basics,
and then getting in touch with the licensing folks for information tailored
to your unique situation, thanks.

(nb: The licensing account is getting a lot of traffic right now... please
do allow some time for a reply. As the situation is changing anyway, if you
need an answer this very minute then it would be best to go with the most
conservative applicable situation outlined in the FAQ.)
