That's a large part of the problem. The Dir702 Flash Asset Xtra is
roughly equal in bug volume to what you would have found in the Oval
Office in 1972. (This was the UPGRADE, mind you, which was supposed to
fix bugs in Dir7.)

Therefore Macromedia is recommending to everyone that you use the older
Dir7 Flash Asset Xtra.

How you get that Xtra is largely up to you. You can:

1. Install Dir7 and steal it from the Xtras folder; or

2. Run a Dir7 projector which has the Xtra bundled and steal it from the
projector's TempFolder; or of course

3. Trade it for a dozen bags of Oreos from a Mongolian yak herdsman.

Since #1 and 3 might be impossible or at least crushingly expensive
since as we know Oreos cost a bundle, if you are running WIn32 you may
be gratified to know that I have a Dir7 projector online -- it's a stub
-- in the avatoengineering section of my pages under "others" on
nightwares.

This can be DLed of course and run.

The Xtra may then be yoinked rapidly by you from the C:\TEMP drive and
you may trot merrily along your happy way.

Of course if this is Mac you're SOL.
