Subject: AW: FLASH: Are the developers of the Flash 4 aliens? :)

Hi Catherine,
first of all - youre right in most of the points you mentioned. Its true,
you really have to get used to the interface of flash, its rather strange.
And I can tell you - I got grey hair when working with the programm and
trying to achieve the things I had in mind. But the main reason for this -
in my opinion - is, that theres no literature on flash (at least here in
Germany), it is absolutely impossible to get any good book, which you could
learn from. So, you have to go through the tutorials on the Web (which a
really, really good, most of them), learn for yourself, trial and error.
A few days ago I gave a three days course for Flash-beginners. And I can
tell you: those people learned so much in this short period I couldnt learn
in half a year. Well, what I want to point out is: its a matter of
information. The programm isnt that strange, that you cant work with it.
The problem is: where do I get the information from?? So, stay here on the
list, which is a real good source for solving problems you might have, go
throug the tutorials and youll have success, Im shure.
Finally, its the result that counts. And you CAN do really great and
interesting things with Flash. So be patient.
