Hi William and David and all,
William your latest remarks do not seem to have been guided by "common
sense" and they certainly have not been guided by this previous advice
put forward on this list!!!
"My complaints end here."
"we end up with boring and obnoxious verbosity that has litle to do with
Flash."
"I would be happier if they were to carry on
their brawl outside the list, since the questions at stake are totally
uninteresting. Let's get this list back on course..."
All the above quotes are from William Skyvington
It seems like good advice even for the author, don't you think?
Let's end this thread and other similar ones, PLEASE.
The original post that started all this was because some of our List
members proceeded on the 'Modeling Job" despite warnings that this job
was not likely as promising as set forth since companies with big
budgets normally follow a more traditional way of dispensing their
money. I feel sorry for those who apparently wasted their time and
effort but they were forwarned by List members and took their chances
for the gold. When you pan for gold it is often a lot more work than it
is worth.
Hopefully, everyone who did work on this project gained valuable skills
that they can use in future projects. Not much solace to those who
invested so much, but maybe there's some comfort in knowing you weren't
alone as we have all heard a few of you did get involved.
