Subject: FLASH: GGGGRRRR Yahoo! and Shockwave 7 :
From: Sienna

I just went to the Beatnik site to view the changes and discovered (via
their nice little message telling me) that I don't have the player.

When I tried to install it, this is what I got:

My Yahoo! error
A My Yahoo! server error occurred. (ERROR:1002)

Use your browser's back button to try again.

You may want login again, as this may fix the problem.

I do have the yahoo player but I don't understand what that has to do with
Beatnik.

On another note about players, I had to reformat my harddrive and lost my
original shockwave player. I downloaded Shockwave 7 (disappointed that it
put so many things in my computer) but I suppose I'll eventually appreciate
the extra stuff.

The problem is this: when I double click a *.swf file, a windows box opens
up asking me what program do I want to use to open the file with. I've
searched and searched for a shockwave program and can't find it. How do I
get my old version shockwave player back? I don't like this new player at
all and I don't like the little remote thingy that pops up.

Is everyone of my customers going to have to go through this also? My
sister already gave up on getting shockwave because of the time it takes to
download and set up and it gave her to many erros.

I just want to play *.swf files again WITHOUT all this hastle. Anyone
know where I can get the version of shockwave before they came out with 7,
or can anyone help me make this version work?

Thanks,

Sienna
