You want to use a vector graphics app to draw your content.  That leaves out

Fireworks since it only saves in bitmap types.  Two good programs for vector

graphics are MM Freehand8 and Adobe Illustrator8.  Illustrator is probably the

more popular one.  You can download a trial version of Illustrator also, from

adobe.com.
