A much more elegant way of doing this would be to put a button in your
movie clip. This button would only have a hit state. It will appear
light blue if you do not have button actions enabled. You can then
assign actions to this button that will make your movie clip play any
way you want. One reason this works better is because if you have an
on mouseover event, the clip will continue to play even if you roll
off. Then you can drag this movie clip on to the stage and be able to
drag it around. I downloaded a tutorial from someplace that explains
this. I will try to figure out where I got it if you need to see how
it works.
