Well it sounds as if there is corrupt something or other in the file.
Process of elimination time for you bro . . . sorry :(

I haven't been blessed with such a task myself . . . but I think I would
start reconstructing and testing as I go along. Using components from my old
file.

Maybe you need some professional help in the area of someone that has
experience with this sort of dilemma.

Bets of luck to you Pierre . . . I hope more experience will make it's way
to this list regarding this.

Quite frankly - I'm afraid to open your .fla :0 Only have my main system at
my disposal today . . . can't afford a Flash Crash today .

. . . IDEA! open the file and resave as different. Start deleting objects
from your library and then make it crash. Just a thought . . . maybe you
might find the culprit that way.

Think . . . are there any slightly unusual symbols you may have? Like a huge
traced BMP or something. Something you downloaded and included in the file.
Have your kids been playing with your computer. Did you leave the file open
overnight while you were asleep(a windows no-no)?

jgl
(not really knowing what the heck I'm talking about)

Good Luck!

-----Original Message-----
renaming (what I already did) didn't help - and I "tortured" a former
.fla file of mine and couldn't reproduce the crash... How can I recover my
file if it's corrupted ?
