Christina,

If you go to my server at home at http://www.libmansworld.com/flash/ you can
download the mytest.fla and the movie which is zipped up.

I removed some of the scripting from the button in scene 1 in order to
simplify my problem. If you go to frame one on the button, highlight that
frame, and select "modify/instance" and then choose "actions" you'll see the
script I put in. I just need to see why the mouseover does not bring up
daveclip1. I believe the scripting is correct and that I have named all the
elements appropriately. I believe my problem has something to do with the
construction of the button but I'm not sure. I left out the text on the
button. I really didn't care about that part.

I really didn't find the concepts that difficult to understand, I thought,
given my background in programming and a teacher of mathematics. I guess my
arrogance got the best of me.

Sincerely, Greg
