Subject: FLASH: hidden area of masked mc still showing - bug?

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to throw this question out there - maybe some of you have had
this problem before. Not sure if this problem exists in F5 also or if
there's a technote on MM's site that I haven't found yet. I have a mc that
is about 20% visible through a small mask. This mc and its corresponding
mask is part of a mc that is duplicated and draggable around the screen.

Here's the problem - when the mc is behind the mask, there are very faint
outlines that show up for the area of the mc that's supposed to be hidden.
Funny thing is - this is only happening at 16bit color (1000's of colors).
Even tested it on two machines - same problem. I know that having a mc at
0% alpha can sometimes produce this but is the same problem happening with
this mask layer? The mc that is masked is at 100% alpha so it rules out
that problem...

Any ideas or Matt or John do you have any info/technotes on this? Thanks
for your help.

Nathan
