I would guess that your display is set to "thousands" rather than

"millions". As yet, there is no standardized palette for 16-bit color

(thousands), and so video card manufacturers make their own flavours, thus

any attempt at color matching, though it may eventually look fine on your

system, will most probably look different on somebody else's 16-bit

display. Most of them, at any rate, do not contain a "super-set" of the

Netscape-save 216-color palette used by Flash.


It looks fine on my system, running in 24-bit color (millions).
