FLASH: (OT) Browser version detection - mac ie 4

Help,


Anyone point me to a resource for browser version detection. The detection

script I am using works fine on windows nav/ie and macintosh navigator..but

not mac internet explorer. Is it necessary to use VB script to sort out the

navigator.appversion???

Unfortunately adding TYPE to the EMBED in your HTML page only allows

most visitors not all to see your Flash.

Adding the TYPE without the MIME being set on the server provides a

complete set of symptoms that can happen to some visitors. Only Windows

versions of IE 3+ do not require the MIME being set on the server.

Just because you see a picture is no indication that evryone will.

You must do one of the 2 specific tests to know if everyone will see

your site without MIME problems.
