Subject: | FLASH: Flash & Generator |

two questions...
1. a client recently challenged my assertation that flash could not
dynamically import text (for web-based usage). while Director has nifty
functions like getNetText, and Generator has it's own dynamic content
abilities, it is my understanding that with Flash, any content used in a
.swf must be compiled into it. so, am i the knowledged pro my client can
depend on, or am i operating in used-car-salesman mode? (i hope it's
understood that's not the question i really want answered...)
2. for those who use Generator... how difficult is the learning curve? if
i were to purchase it for a specific project (involving dynamic content),
how does the learning curve compare to Flash or Director? i understand
this is somewhat of a vague question... i guess i'm just fishing for
opinions before i drop the (gulp) $3000. hint: this is coming from someone
who is comfortable writing actionscripts and lingo.
thanks to anyone who can share an opinion.
