What exactly is the deal with the way fonts are handled?
I see where it says that the font you use must also be present
on the users system, similar to HTML, however I have viewed
flash sites that use fonts that I know FOR SURE I do not have on my
system.
I came across one such site and grabbed the .swf, I imported it into
Flash and dug through it looking for the fonts. I found one with
a font name that I do not have on my system and while in Flash its
face had changed to something else like a times or something similar
but while playing the original .swf it displays the correct font,
the one the original author intended.
So, how do you maintain a specific typeface?
Thanks,
-Brian
