I don't know if a non-legal opinion is going to be useful to you. Seems you
need a legal opinion since you're trying to avoid being sued. Your safest
bet is to get permission from the Monopoly folks for your intended usage.
Anytime you used copyrighted material without permission there is
potentially a copyright infringement.

I just came across a site that offers legal opinions about music copyright:
http://www.music-law.com/. It might help clear up some of the issues for
you and others on this list who have been discussing the legalities of
using copyrighted materials.
