But...

While decoding on Windows is possible, your projector will never be able to
be viewed on a Mac... as it needs both the data&resource forks. On Windows
you can't move these files around. Say, you binhex (hqx) a .jpg... or a
.fla, you can use Unstuff on Windows to restore the file... or vise-versa...
and open the .jpg on Mac. (Of course you won't be able to double-click the
.jpg on Mac unless you have some system software "pc exchange"--regardless,
you'll be able to do a file>open and point the file--in , say, PhotoShop.)

Applications (.exes on the mac) are a different story. They need both the
data and a resource fork made just for mac--and effectively invisible on
Windows.
