FLASH: Flash 5 - poor font handling

Using my Mac and Flash 5 I find the only fonts that are offered with their

postscript outlines are the ones in my system folder. I use Suitcase 8.2 and

have no problems in other programs. So If I want to use one of my fonts that

are loaded but not in the system fold I have to open Illustrator 9 and then

after creating an outline (break apart), bring them into Flash. Freehand 8

also seems to fail on opening Postscript fonts.


It's disappointing that Illustrator can recognize the fonts but flash fails.


This does not seem right. Does anyone have any tips on getting flash to

recognize all the available fonts?
