Subject: FLASH: F5:Two Buttons

Group,

Is there a way that anyone can think of that a person could activate two buttons at once. I will explain what I am doing.

I have set up a drag action so that I drag around a small button movie with the mouse at all time. Whenever the button is pressed it causes a ripple mask effect to go across the screen using the attachMovie method. This needs to sit on the top most layer to cause a ripple effect on the main movie timeline. My problem is that I also have other buttons on the screen that activate navigation to other parts of the site and when I am using the ripple button the other buttons do not work. I tried putting the ripple button on a lower layer and setting a higher level for the ripple movie clip attachment, but the ripple still runs behind the main movie. Is there a way to work around this? Is there a way to set two button operations at the same time?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Tx,
Virgil Carroll
