Hi Christian,
Haven't seen FlashCentral site, however...
Nice looking site, but I didn't see much obviously Flashed
content. I didn't click on *every* link, though. I did see a great deal of
JavaScript (relating to DHTML?) on your home page... not sure why I don't see
anything happening. Work in progress?
Design wise, I really liked the "creative samples"
area. It's difficult to make a portfolio section of any business site
good-looking and interesting. The black horizontal banners work
well.
About the buttons "Who, What , Where"; personally, I
think that if there is a set of buttons on a page, none of them should be
duplicated on any other parts of a page, if possible, since there is usually not
that much space for content anyway, so space needs to be conserved. It also just
looks more elegant if the navigation is kept consistent and localised to one
particular area from page to page (a case for using frames?).
Generally a clean, fresh, no-nonsense site (which is more than
can be said for many out there).
Tested on IE4 and NN 3.02
