Hi David,

What O/S Win 95/98/NT?
If Win 95 is it OSR2?

I run Flash most of the time on Win 95 and Flash doesn't crash nor is it
usually a major cause in system failures.
I both leave Flash on for days at times and at other times start and
stop it often depending on what I am doing. No problem either way
normally. If I am running Java applets on or off the Web I usually shut
down Flash since this increases the chance of a crash. Almost all of my
crashes are either browser or system wide because I am running low on
resources and I usually shut down and reboot before an actual failure
(though not always).

It is possible you have a bad spot on your hard drive or a virus.
I haven't had a bad FLA in a very long time. At least not one I am aware
of considering that there are over 2000 sitting on my drives.
