The success of your button depends on the user's system configuration. So
it's not a reliable way to call up an open outgoing email. Macromedia is
correct, the Get URL mailto: function only works reliably in a web browser,
and even then it depends on the browser being configured to use a mail program.

Possibly you could call a web page (*.htm) with a mailto: embedded in it,
and it might have a higher success rate, but it's still not 100% failproof.

I'd suggest you consider using a dual approach; keep the email button but
also display some text information explaining that if the user's email
client doesn't automatically open, here's the email address.
