Use the Bandwidth Profiler  and Show Streaming functions which are built into Flash to see how your movie will play at various speeds.  When testing the movie, select Control > Show Streaming and View > Bandwidth Profiler.  More information can be found in the help screens or on pages 226-227 of your Flash manual.
