FLASH: SQL/ASP?

I am reading questions that seem to equate SQL and ASP.  Is SQL one form 

of ASP?  


I thought ASP was a WIN NT only dynamic database query and page 

generating system.


I thought SQL was for Unix...



Can someone enlighten me?
