Hello,
I have been using the onClipEvent(mouseMove) event to trap for mouse
movements within a project I am working on.
Basically if the mouse is moved any time during my intro scene, the user is
taken immediately to my main menu screen.
When I test my movie within Flash or as a .swf file, the
onClipEvent(mouseMove) is being triggered even if the mouse hasn't been
moved. I tested this by placing some code that resets a variable back to
zero whenever the mouse moves. This variable is then dumped out to the
message window using the trace feature. Sure enough, testing the movie
within Flash produces this problem as well as with the .swf file.
If I create a standalone projector the problem goes away. Why?
Just thought you folks should know.
cheers,
devin M. arnold
