A Director 8 question

I know...I know this is a flash group, but maybe there's someone who could

help me. We built a .dir file a few months ago on a Mac and then we made a

Windows Projector and everything was fine. Now months later we have to

update that same file, but when we try to open it in Windows we get a "fatal

error" message. Does anyone have any advice on how to get this file to open

up again in Windows?
