Subject: | FLASH: caching in Flash |

Anyone know if the individual elements of a Flash movie are cached as they
load, or is it an all-or-nothing deal? What I'm interested in doing is
preloading movies or parts of movies (preloader scenes perhaps) in a
frameset set to 0% in an HTML document that has a fair amount of text.
If surfers are going to spend time reading through text I may as well be
preloading something. But that only makes sense of there's time to load the
whole movie if indeed Flash follows the all-or-nothing caching scheme. But
if it loads individual elements then you could be preload like a madman.
