Hmmm, it strikes me that you get what you pay for.

US$ 150 ~ � 100 which is a professional rate for most professions in
the UK these days so would not be considered exorbitant but you would
have to be pretty good to charge this.

For new starters / basic flash, you may only be able to charge half of
this but you should remember that basic programming is fairly cheap,
the real money comes in for being creative (i.e. the design, writing
new music etc) and, to get that right, you can virtually charge what
you want for the right product

i.e. think how much Coke pay their creatives and you get the idea.

At the end of the day, you have to decide a rate that you are
comfortable charging and then make sure you are worth the money. The
higher the rate, the less offers you'll get but, supposedly, you'll
get the level of work that you want. The lower the fee, you might get
more work but it could well be quite basic.

I think that 50 euro per hour is acceptable.
