It is not only your CISCO site that relies too heavily on bitmaps.

The buttons and the Web Works on the right should definately be

vectorized to give a much cleaner look. With Flash and vectors you can

have perfect text, boxes with straight edges and gradients that make

smooth clean transitions.


If this is judged on the basis of a non-Flashed site it isn't bad but

based on the capabilities of Flash it isn't up to par technically.


Nice Morphing.

I like the center border but wonder how many bytes it took.

The logo in the upper left is interesting but wonder if it would look

even better if the text was vectors (in this case making the text

vectors would probably add to the file size).


When working in Flash there are always trade offs. To add realism and

make things less rigid and cartoonish you don't want to introduce low

quality text and basic shapes with jagged edges.
