Subject: FLASH: html/wysiwyg editors and a new question!!
From: Jake
Date: Wed, 6 Jan 1999 09:03:14 GMT

Thanks to everyone for advise on text editors/wysiwyg programs. I've dug
out most of the free demo versions on the web pages so I'll give the whole
lot a go.

One question though: I've been using freehand 8 to create basic animations
(before I got hold of flash). Some of the things I've designed are in
layered freehand documents. Is there a way to import these graphics into
flash keeping the layers, colours and text. Everytime I try and import a
freehand .swf document it does an illigal action, or opens it as a movie
player document which I can't seem to edit. If I try using a freehand .eps
it asks me to use a Illustrator or photoshop .eps (which come from
Adobe??!!!!). The main thing I'm trying to achive is to bring my desings
from freehand into flash and then add the interactivity without having to
re-draw the whole lot in flash.

Thats it, thanks again

Jake

Oh p.s. Happy new year everyone!
