Using fireworks, in most cases, for art created in Illustrator, would be a

step backwards, as you would then end up with a bunch of bitmaps, instead

of vector art. I don't use Freehand enough to have committed it to memory,

but I do recall that others have provided advice on how to spec the colors

in Freehand in order to retain them upon import into Flash. Perhaps another

will pipe up here with that info.
