Here's a really easy trick to remembering your web-safe colors:

R: 0 51 102 153 204 255
G: 0 51 102 153 204 255
B: 0 51 102 153 204 255

Those are the numbers you can use, in any combination, to attain a web-safe
color. Should pretty much work across the board, however, I have noticed
ever-so-slight variancies from program to program.

You can also check http://www.lynda.com where Lynda has been polite enough
to show you the Web Color Palette. Very nice, indeed.

web safe color palette that Flash 3 uses. That should keep your colors
consistent.
