Dear Kenneth:
Actually, I find Darrel's book on Flash 3 pretty good so far. He leaves
nothing to chance, at least in the first 69 pages that I am going through.
Some people might find it pedantic, but it seems thorough. And yes, I did
read the Amazon.com reviews but I couldn't resist when I saw the book in my
local bookstore! (See, I really love this stuff!) And yes again, I know
about the deplorable habit of Macromedia in publishing software that takes a
sometimes unnecessarily difficult route to accomplish a task, while at the
same time marketing the hell out of it! But hey, Wall Street thinks they are
making money...look at their stock price! As for sitting down with a Flash
friend...I am afraid this is not likely in northeastern Vermont! But isn't
that supposed to be the beauty of the internet...that you don't need to be
in the midst of urban mayhem to learn something like Flash?

BTW I am in individual mode.

Regards,
Tim
