Disregard that last message Colin your code worked beautifully.  I had spent

about 2 hours playing around with every possibility.... then I gave up and

wrote you.... then 5 minutes later SHAZAM!  I found the bug.  I had put your

javascript INSIDE another script which hosed the whole thing.
