There have been reports of load movie not working appropriately with IE 4.5

Macintosh. Sites that use more than 1 level of load movie will experience

problems with movies not being able to load. This is a known issue with IE

4.5 Mac, and in some cases IE 4.0 Mac, and has even caused some major site

publishers to prohibit IE 4.X Mac users from entering their sites due to

these and other limitations.


With this, we have worked very closely with Microsoft and their 5.0 Mac

release to ensure that these and other high-profile issues the Flash

development community has been plagued with will be addressed. Microsoft has

been very committed to fixing these issues. From what we have seen, their

commitment is paying off. We feel very confident the new release will

address this and other legacy issues and hopefully we can continue to focus

on creating great sites and not working around browser issues.
