FLASH: Bitmap border distortion

Viewing my Flash 4 HTML movie through a browser, borders around my 

bitmaps are distorted. I've seen a variety of  problems with border 

distortion, depending on the bitmap and the publish settings. The 

imported image is a non antialiased black box around a graphic. Here are 

the HTML movie distortion problems: the black line becomes gray, 2 border 

lines are cropped (bottom and/or right), and 2 lines are doubled and 

antialiased (left and/or top). I've imported all Mac supported bitmap 

formats including: png, gif, pic, jpg. I've used both the compression 

settings as both jpg and png/gif in the Bitmap Properties dialog. All 

publish quality settings have also been tested.
