That seemed to solve my problem. You are a life saver. I went and looked at
the first frame after reading your message and yes I did have an image in
the first frame, however it was in a mask and that seemed to be the cause.
Man working 14 hour days is making me not think. Thanks a lot.

The little circle probably means that your movie clips start with an empty
frame. Try temporarily placing the main symbol from the movie clip in the
first
frame, then tween it, then remove the symbol from the first frame.
That should do the trick,
