Too many TellTargets in too short a time can cause Flash to freeze or
perhaps cause other problems. I had this problem in a Flash3 game. I solved
it by creating a large invisible button within a movie clip. When a button
was triggered, in addition to that button's desired action I also made it
tellTarget the invisible button to appear on top of everything for just one
or two frame's duration. That blocked actions on any of the other buttons
for a fraction of a second and fixed the bug.
