Thanks for the quick reply Brandon, udaman! Actually, though it turned
out we were using some 'ors' deeper into the evaluation scripts,
replacing them with 'else/ifs' seems to have fixed the trouble. We may
get occasional duplication our way, but it looks good enough for now
(golden master burns on wednesday!;-).
