Graveshow,

the color i believe youre looking for may be duotine sepia.
these are the actions i often use for old photo effects
in photoshop try this . . . . . .

convert pic to rgb . . .
make new adjustment layer
type:hue/saturation
without colorize
adjustment: hue/saturation adjustment list
hue/saturation adjustment
hue: 0
saturation: -100
lightness: 0
make a new adjustment layer
type:colorbalance
shadows level: 6,0,-14
midtones levels: 15,-5,-19
highlight levels: 5, -9, -20
with preserve luminosity
for variation, try changing the opacity of the color balance layer
or try cahninging its blending mode, overlay, hard light, soft light,
etc.

for a heavier sepia effect a variation would be . . .
variations in peranthesis ()

convert pic to rgb . . .
make new adjustment layer
type:hue/saturation
without colorize
adjustment: hue/saturation adjustment list
hue/saturation adjustment
(channel:composite)
hue: 0
saturation: -100
lightness: 0
make a new adjustment layer
type:colorbalance
(shadows level: 10,0,-10)
(midtones levels: 60,0,-45)
(highlight levels: 5, -15, -20)
with preserve luminosity
