I'm running into the same problem. One thing you can do, is to preload the
gifs before you go to that page. If your have an html page with a Flash
animation running, you could be preloading the gifs exclusive to the
Flash...onload preload. If you're not running Flash, then perhaps a
"preloading html page" that's sole purpose is to load the gifs into cache
display some loading text, and then have a refresh(?) or redirect (?) (not
sure about this command) go to a second page after a specified time and then
all gifs should instantly appear.

Sounds great in theory. Does anybody know about those redirect/refresh
commands? I'm also very interested.

Is there anyway to preload a streaming autostarting realmedia file?

nope.... because once you export, it is just a sequence of gif images... no
flash functionality......
