Dear Giv,

When I create 3D objects in Flash, I use no magic application which converts
to vectored images. I do it the old fashioned way, by hand.

I use all my training as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer, to simplify
each frame/object into as simple of a shape(s) as possible, while
maintaining the look of the original image/frame/video shot/QuickTime frame
etc. Each frame is different, but similar to it's neighbor; keeping that in
mind helps to create similar shapes throughout the whole animation. Each
frame is somewhat different though, some frames are more complicated than
others.

Within those boundaries, I set certain rules in place which gives the
complete animation the continuity necessary to maintain it's unique look,
and also to give it that extra punch which pops it right off the page!

I should mention this:

To recreate in 3D is a long and tedious process! What can I say, if you
really want something it takes lots and lots of work to get it! Isn't most
things in life which we really want, earned in this fashion . . .

cYa,

Mary Brzys
