FLASH: GIF from Generator

I have an SWT with a text field containing "{varText}" and I'm trying 

to get a GIF with custom text like so:


.../gen.swt?varText=Some+Text&type=gif


What I'm getting back from Gen 2.0 is the GIF but without the 

varText. If I use the URL


.../gen.swt?varText=Some+Text


then I get a Flash movie with the varText in place.



I've gotten the correct GIF a few times, but not the last few 

(hundred?) times. Any idea what's wrong? Could it be the server 

itself, and not the information I'm passing?
