There is no need to have a seperate HTML page with form and stuff to collect
your data ...flash can send the data (as collected from within flash with a form
in flash) straight to an ASP script (that will never be displayed onsscreen and
will process the data to a databese) and receive variable back into the movie
and parse them out (also without having to display any ASP page on screen). Then
you dont have to make the movie jump to any desired frame from javascript, but
rather just put an action in the movie to let it play or goto the frame you need
it to go.

The project I'm working on at the moment does the same thing by using asp to
call the javascript/fs commands to move the film to the labels. The asp takes
its values from the main html navigation e.g. "200", passes it on to the
javascript which tells the flashmovie to go to the frame labelled "200". If
you want to enter stuff into the database you can do that quite independantly
of your commands to the film.

Hope that is enough to get you going. Can give you some more detail if you
need it.
