Good question and I have not done that-yet.

Certainly worthy.

The file was not compressed before importing into flash. Then
exporting as jpg-66483bytes. Same file-12963 after gif w.
Then reposted (the smaller one) and downloaded-Netscape 4.7.
Download=12963. Easily confirmed. I could post both, for
downloading or comparing.
I have, in the past, found gw size to be in-accurate. I have also
found it to be accurate more often than not.
I like and enjoy flash as we all do. Would hate to be without it. But
software sometimes assumes we all have a gig of ram, and a
35mb hd. A 60-80% savings in file size (images) is interesting to
say the least. If flas's can be smaller, without loss of desired effect,
then a worthy goal.
Flash has so much going for it, this is perhaps a minute point.
