Dave and Miles,
Good point. The animation can't go on to the next frame until all actions
have been completed - this being if your animations are on the the same
timeline/movie clip as the loops. However, if you need to have animation
running at the same time you can just bury them in a different movie clip.
Then you can have whatever animations you want running when loops or other
scripts are going at the same time. Depending on how much animation is
occuring, this might have no effect on the speed of your loop or it could
go as far as slowing your loop down drastically.
