Subject: Re: FLASH: database to Flash

Hi, redstar, and thank you for all this great information! How-some-ever,
I'm past this point now. I have already successfully accessed data from the
Excel data source and passed to the browser via ASP.

The problem I'm having now is what Michael Bain is talking about...somehow
the ASP script's connection to the "database" leaves threads running so that
PWS will only respond once unless I reboot my system. Very frustrating to
debug my code, dontcha know.

I have tried the solution Michael found (overwriting some DLL's), and so far
no luck, but I have IE 5.5 beta, so am considering uninstalling it. The
problem with THAT is, I "lose" all my Outlook Express messages, and there is
a bug that won't let me export them first...the only way I can get them back
seems to be re-installing IE 5.5 and it is very buggy. At any rate, since
it IS buggy am thinking it might have caused my problems with PWS so will
give it a go.

Thanks for everybody's input!
