Sorry, folks, I'm in digest mode and hence slow to reply...

Mark Hoffman pointed out that the *#$%#^!ing ISP doesn't have MIME types
set for flash.
We're in Australia, the ISP is in New Zealand, but I'm organising some
folks there to adjust their servers... with baseball bats ;-)

Many thanks to Mark & 2Nerotic who bug-stomped, and to everyone else who
took the time and gave words of encouragement. I going to rest on my
Laurels now (advantage of having twin sons with the same name...)
